Dr. Andrew Moore is the founder of Conceptions Fertility Center. The vision for starting Conceptions grew out of a desire to provide comprehensive, personalized, accessible, compassionate, and affordable care to couples facing infertility, as well as to be a good citizen, contributing to community efforts that address preventable causes of infertility and make Utah the healthiest place for creating families.
Dr. Moore is known by his patients for his gentle bedside manner and sense of humor, and for offering both hope and realistic expectations to the couples he works with. Throughout his career, he has received numerous clinical, teaching and research honors. From 2012-2017, Dr. Moore was an Assistant Professor of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He currently serves on the PROLOG editorial board for the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, has published research on topics ranging from the genetics of egg development to the effects on infertility of weight loss, and is a regular reviewer for various academic journals.
Dr. Moore grew up in Arizona but spent many summers of his childhood in the mountains and valleys of Utah while visiting his grandparents’ farm in Benjamin. He first moved to Utah to pursue a bachelor’s degree in music at Brigham Young University and is a former cellist in the Orchestra at Temple Square. After 11 years of medical training in the Eastern United States, Dr. Moore, his wife, and their five children moved back to Utah, and since then, they have added 3 goats, 5 sheep, 9 cows, 5 pigs, a cat, and 25 chickens to their family. Dr. Moore became fluent in Spanish during a 2-year mission to Argentina and welcomes Spanish-speaking patients.
